COVID Safe Christmas party ideas

As we come to the end of this most unusual year, there’s never been a more important time to boost team spirits.

And what better way to see out a year of social dislocation than a get together with friends and colleagues.

In a COVID Safe way, of course!

And although travel and venue restrictions continue to be relaxed, we’re keeping your (and our) health and safety responsibilities front and centre.

So if it’s fallen upon you to organise “getting the band back together” we’ve tried to make your life a little bit easier by putting together some COVID Safe Christmas party ideas – think a relaxed day in the country, some good food and wine, and someone else doing the organising and driving!

Where we go

Explore Sydney’s closest wine region – known for excellent wine, beautiful scenery and historic towns.

The Southern Highlands, just 90 minutes from the Sydney CBD, has developed a reputation as one of the most exciting young wine regions in Australia.

Best known for cool-climate varieties, particularly pinot noir, riesling and chardonnay, the area’s winemakers have expanded the range to include lesser-known grapes too.

Even now, as the more established wineries enter their third decade, relative newcomers continue to join the party. And what better way to start a party than with a glass of Southern Highlands bubbles?

Who new that a wine region was around the corner from home? We had a great day exploring the beauty of the Southern Highlands and exploring the charming Berrima.

We enjoyed different types of wine, learnt a lot about the area and wine production in the region and of course had an amazing time trying different types of wine! As a bonus, we loved the food too.

…we tried some amazing regional wines (so good we ended up buying quite a lot of wine) and we discovered a region that is close to Sydney but hadn’t seen before!

What a fun AND informative tour. On a road less travelled, away from the crowds, we sipped, we discovered, we learned, we relaxed & laughed.
