Description

Explore Sydney’s closest wine region – known for excellent wine, beautiful scenery and historic towns.

The Southern Highlands has developed a reputation as one of the most exciting young wine regions in Australia.

Best known for cool-climate varieties, particularly pinot noir, riesling and chardonnay, the area’s winemakers have expanded the range to include lesser-known grapes too.

Even now, as the more established wineries enter their third decade, relative newcomers continue to join the party. And what better way to start a party than with a glass of Southern Highlands bubbles?

During the day you’ll enjoy a wine tasting at three of the most highly-rated wineries in the Southern Highlands, Centennial Vineyards, Tertini Wines and Cherry Tree Hill Wines, and enjoy a hearty lunch at The Surveyor General, Australia’s oldest continuously licensed inn.

Reviews

Great to do as a group (as we did!) Delicious wines and great to see this part of Australia, especially Berrima which was beautiful and a great stop for lunch! Highly Recommended!

This tour is a great way to escape Sydney and explore a beautiful part of NSW with an informative (and entertaining) guide, Steve. The wineries were all delicious and gave us a lot of information about wines in the region.

Erin R.September 2020

I’m very new to wine culture and I joined the tour hoping to learn a little bit about wine and buy a gift for Father’s Day. The tour experience I received gave me exactly that and beyond!

Cindy X.September 2020

This is the perfect day for any WINE LOVER and it is exciting to discover the relatively young wine culture (compared to the Hunter) in the Southern Highlands. Landscape is breathtaking. A glorious day and just only a bit over an hour from Sydney.

Susie B.July 2020

What a fun AND informative tour. On a road less travelled, away from the crowds, we sipped, we discovered, we learned, we relaxed & laughed.

Céline B.July 2020

…we tried some amazing regional wines (so good we ended up buying quite a lot of wine) and we discovered a region that is close to Sydney but hadn’t seen before!

Laura M.July 2020

We enjoyed different types of wine, learnt a lot about the area and wine production in the region and of course had an amazing time trying different types of wine! As a bonus, we loved the food too.

Tomoko N.July 2020

Who new that a wine region was around the corner from home? We had a great day exploring the beauty of the Southern Highlands and exploring the charming Berrima.
