Best day ever. A must do tour if in Sydney. Up close memories to last a life time with Koalas and Kangaroos followed by an awesome lunch, incredible views of Fitzroy Falls, ended with a fantastic wine tasting experience all with a knowledgeable, funny guide. It’s so well organised, and offers excellent value for money. 10/10 highly recommended.

WE AGREE, ONE OF THE BEST TOURS EVER! We have done many small group tours when we travel but few can compare with our days adventure frim Sydney. From the van we went in, to our tour guide, Steve, to the places we visited, everything was perfect. We kind of felt special when we showed up at Symbio Wildlife Park before they opened to the public. With just the 10 people in our group we walked right into the Koala enclosure to pet the Koalas, take photos and just enjoy the experience without crowds. Just that would have made our day and the rest of the day was just as good. For us, it probably will be a once in a lifetime experience and well worth the cost.

Fantastic! Definitely book this tour. Steve was the BEST guide, funny, knowledgeable and fun. It’s a great way to get out of the city for the day to see things you probably wouldn’t even consider. Great that it’s a small group, super relaxing and enjoyable. Loved it all, and definitely recommend.

Best tour I have ever been on. Our tour guide Karien was amazing! She was quite knowledgeable, friendly and had a perfect personality for being a tour guide. The order of stops was on point. Each location was the correct amount of time. Especially the koalas and kangaroos. That experience was the best! Even though we had some light rain Karien was prepared with umbrellas for everyone. For our beach café stop the sun finally came out, which made for an excellent lunch and walk on the beach. The water was beautiful. Onward to Fitzroy waterfall. A short hike to the viewing points with educational talk in regard to the foliage and possible wildlife sightings was great. The final stop at the Vineyard was lovely as well. This tour is definitely worth the cost. You get to see a variety in just a days time. I highly recommend this tour if you are here in Sydney for a limited amount of days.

WWW equals Wonderful Had a fantastic day with our guide Steve traveling the beautiful coastline of Sydney visiting beautiful forests and an amazing wildlife sanctuary where we were able to be up close and feed the Kowalas and kangaroos then having a fantastic lunch on the beach and ending our day with a delicious wine tasting. Steve personalizes the entire day with his knowledge and extras that we will always remember.

Gute Komposition unterschiedlicher Erlebnisse. Hochwertiges Weingut, gutes Mittagessen, sehr gute private Möglichkeit Koalas wirklich näher zu kommen und sie auch streicheln zu können. War bei einer anderen Tour nicht möglich. Ich hätte in den Southern Highlands gerne ein, zwei kurze Stopps für Fotos von der Landschaft, Kuhherden usw gemacht und nicht nur durchgefahren. Ein Besuch auf einem Bauernhof in den fruchtbaren Highlands hätte mir gefallen. Aber so war es auch sehr schön! Ein ganz toller, engagierter Giude, der viel Interessantes zu erzählen wusste. 👌

A great day! It was a great day! We loved getting to interact with two young koalas, then spent time heading down the coast before heading to the blue mountains. The waterfall and walk we did there was okay, though the waterfall there is very small in comparison to any other waterfalls I’ve seen elsewhere. As the guide pointed out, Australia is the driest inhabited continent in the world. The wine tasting at the end was the perfect end to the day.

If you only have one day.... If you have limited openings in your Sydney schedule this is the best all around south of Sydney experience tour. It was our favorite tour out of our week long stay in Australia. Steve (guide, driver, owner) had local insight " I used to ride my bike here", kept the trip on plan and made it a great and fun experience. The Symbio Zoo is a small but beautiful place to experience Australian species. The Koala, Tasmanian Devil , Wombat and Blue Penquin habitats were well designed and creative. Coastal views of beaches, hiking through national parks, an amazing waterfall, crossing paths with Lyre birds and visit to an award winning winery made for an immersive experience. Pay attention for the sparkling Syrah. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would give it a 5 star rating.

11/10 amazing tour Just an absolutely amazing tour from start to finish! Steve was an amazing tour guide full of interesting information on all this koalas, kangaroos and Australia in general. We did two full weeks in Australia and over 3 different tours, all agreeing that this day was our favorite. Being able to feed the kangaroos and pet the koalas before the sanctuary opened was just so lovely. We didn’t have the greatest weather, yet the day was still the best ever. Capping off the morning with the forest hike, lunch, and winery was also amazing. Cannot recommend this tour enough!!

Very well organized & fully packed day with everything as advertised. Steven was great & very informative. Highly recomended! The only downfall was the size of the van, we were 11 & the seats weren’t comfortable & tight for anyone with a bit more tush.

He was excellent and really kept tabs on his “people.” Having the opportunity to pet a koala, and feed kangaroos, was just amazing. The wildlife park that we went to was very clean and educational . It was obvious, that the caretakers really cared and took care of these animals. The tour was well planned out, action packed, and very well organized. We really felt as though we had experienced a taste of Australia. We saw a beautiful waterfall, wildlife, wine tasting, swam in the South Pacific Ocean, our lunch was well organized and delicious, wow! Book this tour. (Oh, I usually don’t write too many reviews but this one was a must!) thank you for offering the trip.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a much better experience than I could’ve hoped for. I don’t want to give too much away and give anyone any expectations, but it was a full day (7am-2pm I think) of exploring all over and learning about Sydney. Steve, the gentleman who runs it, was very knowledgeable, and fun to listen to. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for someone to spend a day having fun with a bunch of strangers looking to do the same.

Fantastic day! A fantastic day, we got to pat the koalas, feed the kangaroos and emu. Wonderful scenic tour down the coast. Lunch was delicious over looking the beach. A lovely bush walk by the falls and finished with a very generous wine tasting. Steve was great! Highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful way to spend the day outside of Sydney We enjoyed the day with Steve. Great commentary as we traveled outside Sydney. We learned a lot about Sydney and Australia. Our highlight was the wildlife park. Petting the Koalas and feeding the kangaroos. Highly recommend getting outside the Sydney and seeing sites.

ATTN: KOALA LOVERS!! You'll get exclusive time with koalas, and you can pet them and take selfies with them!!! For anyone who is freaking out about choosing day tours like I was, I'll let you know that this specific one is the best for people who have a limited time in Sydney but still want to experience a ton of things. We got to explore a wildlife park 15 minutes before public opening (like Disneyland Magic Hour haha) and got to pet and take pictures with very adorable and friendly koalas AND kangaroos!! And we visited 3 different national parks with minimal walking (my preference lol). I had the best time on this tour thanks to The OG (original) Steve!!! He was so extremely knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna, and turns out he was studying for a phd when he decided to become a tour guide instead. So you can tell he is a genius!!! Honestly, this tour checked off so many of my boxes that I want to sign up for another of OG Steve's tours. Thank you again for making my whirlwind trip to Sydney so memorable. This is worth every penny. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Karien made this day absolutely magical. She is a phenomenal guide and a lot of fun! We had an unforgettable time. The wildlife tour was amazing, feeding emus, kangaroos, wallabys, and petting koalas was amazing. The waterfall tour was lovely and made even better by Karien's knowledge. The wine tasting was a magnificent end to a lovely day - I can't recommend the Raspberry Nectar enough!

Really enjoyed the day! This tour had a little of everything, the wildlife park was amazing being that close to the koalas and kangaroos, touching them and feeding them was a bucket list item. Even though it was a rainy day and fog made it a little difficult to see the falls it was a nice hike into the park on a clear day it would have been beautiful. Wine and cheese to end the day at a beautiful winery was perfect. Our stop for lunch was also very good with a beautiful ocean view.
Our tour guide Steve was excellent, full of interesting facts, he made sure we had everything we needed and we never felt rushed. I will say there is a lot of driving, you spend a lot of time in the van, but seeing the countryside is very pretty and getting out of the city was really very nice.

THIS is the tour you are looking for!! Absolutely phenomenal tour! Steve's warmth, captivating storytelling, and historical insights brought each location to life. The highlights were countless – from the breathtaking views at Bald Hill to the koala and kangaroo encounters at Symbio Wildlife Park. The coastal drive and lunch with ocean views were picturesque and bush-walk was a nature lover's dream. We even spotted a male Lyrebird preparing his stage to impress the lady Lyres. The wine tasting finale was the perfect conclusion to an extraordinary day. Thank you, Steve, for such a wonderful experience!

Was a great itinerary and nothing felt rushed. 4/5 stars for transportation because it was very hot in the van. Other than that, no complaints!!

Amazing day outside of Sydney with wildlife, waterfalls and wine! We had such an amazing day! Starting from early park entry to have upclose encounters petting the Koala's, to amazing views of the coastline, to a wonderful meal with a walk along the beach, to waterfalls and bush, and finally ending with a lovely wine tasting, the day was perfect! I highly recommend!

Spectacular wildlife tour and wine tasting! This tour was excellent. Book immediately, you will not be sorry!! Rohan was an incredible guide; spoke so knowledgeably about Sydney, the history of Australia, and the Australian government today. We had an amazing time at the Symbio wildlife reserve, petting koalas and feeding and petting the kangaroos. Lunch was great at a local cafe overlooking the beach where we were able to swim in the ocean. We also stopped at a winery and had a wine tasting with snacks as well before heading home. Multiple stops along the way led us to beautiful lookouts. The only downside was some rain when we hiked to the waterfall, but view was still spectacular. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get out of Sydney for the day, see some beautiful sites, and learn more about the country’s history. 10000% would do again!

SO Worth It! This excursion was one of the big highlights of our trip to Sydney! Meeting a koala, feeding kangaroos, eating at a beachside cafe, seeing a waterfall, and enjoying a wine tasting made for a great day. The van was air conditioned and even had USB ports to charge phones. All the stops were well-paced, so we weren’t in the van for too long at a time (about 1.5 hours at most). Our guide Rohan was friendly, funny, and informative. And I’m not usually a history buff, but the detail he went into about Australia’s history was fascinating. Everything was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Incredible! Beach to Mountains… The Other Steve made our day incredible!! We enjoyed the variety of stops on the itinerary, the weather was sunny, beautiful, perfect for the wildlife, waterfalls and winery. Plenty of stops for scenic overlooks, rest stops. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic day with the other Steve who kept us informed and entertained on our 13 hour adventure! Loved all the stops along the way with early entry into Symbio wildlife park to get up close with 5 Kuolas and feed the Roos and Wallabees. Lunch was great with time to even swim in the ocean after, amazing waterfall, and beautiful winery to end the day. Highly recommend this excursion!

Perfect day We did so much and had such a wonderful time that I wished I could do it all again the next day. Steve shared information with us on all imaginable topics, he seemingly knows everything about the flora and fauna! Can’t wait to come back.

What I loved the most is the wildlife park we visited, Symbio Park. I also loved the Fitzroy waterfalls and the national park we visited. And Bulli beach where we had lunch. Centennial vineyard was also a treat. I don't have critiques on the day, it was all wonderful and Steve has been a true lovely and caring tour guide!

Would Definitely Recommend!! This was a ton of fun! Steve ('the other steve,' AKA steve2) was a great guide! Highlight was definitely feeding the kangaroos. They are just all over and come run up and eat out of your hands! Super chill, super easy! Highly recommend if you're looking to get out for the city for a day, see some cool animals, and drink some vino!

Nice day trip south of Sydney We had a fantastic day out of Sydney to the South Coast. Our host Steve was a wealth of knowledge and kept us entertained the entire day from our journey south out of Sydney through the Royal National Park, out to Bulli Beach, up to FitzRoy Falls for a nice bush walk, ending with wonderful cheese and fruit wine tasting at Centennial Vineyards. Totally recommend this day trip.

As advertised: Wildlife, Waterfalls and wine!! It was one of the best tours I have ben on. Steve was an amazing guide with a deep knowledge and appreciation for the wildlife, forests , geology and yes, the wines of the region as well! Getting in early to see the koalas with lots of time for pictures and feeding the kangaroos is a not-to-be-missed experience! We loved the day!

Great tour and well worth the money This was a fantastic trip even though the weather didn't cooperate. They use a small bus with a maximum of 11 passengers. Even better, the stops are unique -- for example we didn't see another tourist anywhere.

How good is Steve? Great experience with the extremely knowledgeable, gracious and ever helpful Steve. Have to also comment on how clean the van was, and how sparkling clean the windows were. Meticulous precision in everything.

Great experience! The tour was exactly as described! I was able to.meet and pet koalas, feed kangaroos! Also viewed lovely Australia oceanside and beaches! Add a very yummy lunch and, later, visited a winery! It was a very successful day! The Other Steve was very knowledgeable and informative!

Wonderful Day Trip This was a wonderful day trip! The guide was very knowledgeable and fun! He was also an excellent driver. We have been on tours where the driver was much too aggressive or speedy. This driver made us very comfortable on windy narrow roads. The animal encounters were definitely highlights of the day. But the beautiful scenery and winery experience were also great.

Must Do Experience Wow! Wow! Wow! Hands down, one of the best tours I've ever been on. Steve is a terrific tour guide. Everything went so smoothly and all of the activities were amazing. The stand out, of course, was the Koala experience. I thought it would be similar to those we had seen elsewhere (stand in line, spend 2 seconds having your photo taken next to a koala, next!) But no! We were a group of 11 and we were in the enclosure with the koala's during breakfast, before the park opened and we were there probably 15-20 minutes. We had lots of time to pet them and watch them eat and take photos. Madi, from the park, was awesome and gave us great info and answered all of our many questions. Lunch at a local eatery in Bulli was fantastic - fresh and delicious. The walk to see the waterfall was gorgeous (but you definitely need to be able-bodied to take advantage of this part of the tour - it's not a hard walk but lots of uneven ground and some steps. We had a gal in our group who was weeks away from a knee replacement and she opted to hang back from the group here and enjoy the scenery). The overlook to the waterfall was positively breathtaking. Last but not least our visit to the winery was sublime. We tasted 5 of their wines and they included a hearty charcuterie board to share with our tour mates. The small group makes this an extra special tour. We had a good time getting to know each other and getting to know Steve. I highly recommend this tour. I booked based on reviews similar to mine and it did not disappoint. This is a must-do when you're in Sydney.

Amazing collection of non crowded places to see in Australia. Steve was our friendly and knowledgeable guide. He arrived on time and had our group ready to go in no time. The vehicle was nice and well maintained, even had USB chargers next to each seat. He also had a few extra charging cables (both Apple and Android) if needed. He talked about sites and history all along the drive thru the Royal National park and to all locations. There were 5 planned stops on the trip, Wildlife park (where you get up close and personal with the koalas and kangaroos), a scenic vista point(beautiful views of Australia’s coastline and if winds are right see paraglides). Lunch at a local beach cafe(Meal and a drink included with cost of trip. He took our order and called ahead so we sat and ate, giving us time to enjoy the beach and take a dip in the ocean). Waterfall and nature trail( Beautiful views and an easy/moderate walk thru the forest with facts and details along the trail). Winery(Enjoyed a sampling of the wines). Nothing was ever rushed. There was plenty of time to enjoy all sites.

Definitly the Koalas....it was amazing. And Steve our Guide was super! It was a wonderful tour.

Make the right choice: Book this one! “This was the best tour we’ve ever been on” was the comment the my wife made after we were dropped off! Steve was a wonderful guy who was absolutely bent on us having a good time and we did. All of our boxes were checked that day: hanging out with koalas & kangaroos at wonderfully kept preserve that was off the beaten path; walking through misty, cool rainforests with the sound of thundering waterfalls, a super tasty seaside lunch along a spectacular stretch of highway South of Sydney and a couple of hours at an Australian winery that was in an area where Steve actually grew up. The day was chalked full of history, information about wildlife and fauna and what it’s like to be Australian. I don’t think we could have made a better choice - hope you make the right choice too and just book this!

So glad we took the time to do this!! What an amazing day! We started out early to get to the preserve before it was open to the public. To be able to see the koalas in their habitat, pet them and take photos with them was priceless! Next to the kangaroos and wallabies-so fun! We fed them, petted them and interacted with them. The emus were hysterical. Just a great time! Lunch at the beach was delicious. The hike was not strenuous and the views were gorgeous. The winery was a nice break in the day. Our guide was so informative, intuative, interesting and enthusiastic. He’s also a good driver! Definitely worth the money and an excellent choice for anyone new to Australia or even for those that want to explore their homeland.

This was such an amazing experience and more than worth the price! Meeting the koalas and kangaroos was such a special and once in a lifetime opportunity. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable on literally everything and made the trip fly by with tons of facts and interesting storytelling. Must do experience during your time in Sydney!

Sydney hidden gem of a tour I don’t know how I selected this tour, it was probably the wine. The wine was great, but it wasn’t even the best part! The tour guide, Steve has made several connections that got us into the wildlife sanctuary before the general public. Steve was so knowledgeable about everything on the tour. Steve even made a couple unexpected stops so we could get pictures of the amazing coastline. If you come to Sydney, you have to take this tour!

Meeting the animals at Symbio was an obvious highlight of this trip. What surprised me was how Steve’s deep knowledge of plants, animals, geology, and just about everything else enhanced what could have been otherwise fairly bland drives and walks. It was so wonderful learning from Steve.

Fantastic excursion. Our guide was terrific...told great stories, very down to earth. Really enjoyed getting close to the koalas and kangaroos. Lunch was okay. It was a cloudy/foggy/misty day so we didn't really get to see the waterfall. It would have been an amazing view on a clear day. The winery was very nice. Enjoyed the company of the other guests. It was a small group which was nice.

Eccellent Tour Great tour, very varied, informative and entertaining. Our guide was excellent, took care of everything, was well informed, easy to understand even for non-natives. Perfect tour for everyone!! Definitely one of my favorite tours I’ve done while traveling. It’s nice having a smaller group. From the moment you started the tour, the bus was clean and spacious. The information was very helpful and insightful. The wildlife zoo was AMAZING! You get to go inside the koala exhibit and feed the kangaroos. Lunch was yummy with local people and the hike was very mild. the winery was the perfect way to end it. There were couples, friends and families so perfect for all ages. Long day but worth it. Make sure you pack a waterbottle….pretty much everything else is included

An excellent tour with a wonderful guide! The #wildlifewaterfallswine tour out of Sydney with Steve was a wonderful day. Steve was a fabulous guide and taught us a lot about the sights and history of the area. The van was comfortable and the pace relaxed. We were thrilled to see and pet koalas and kangaroos, we also saw many other Australian native animals. The Symbio Wildlife park was a very special place, the best of its kind. Lunch was great, the waterfalls beautiful, several other sights, too. The wine tasting was excellent, we even bought a couple of bottles at the winery. We heartily recommend Steve and this tour!

So fun! This was an amazing find! We got to see so much of the area around Sydney from the beach to the mountains. The highlight though was the guide, Steve, and meeting the koalas. You will not get any closer to a koala than this tour. We had a wonderful meal, the waterfall was gorgeous and the wine tasting was fabulous! I highly recommend you check this tour out.

The most wonderful excursion It was the most wonderful excursion I have had in my life. The guide - Steve (Not the boss, Another) - is well experienced and prepared, so he made the tour, which is well planned itself - even more fabulous and greater! The tour routes taken, scenic points, explanations, experiences we have had and the schedule at any seconds were perfect and special! I highly recommend this tour anyone who are travelling around NSW!

Scenic Sensation! Great option for a day trip out of Sydney! Gorgeous coastline, breathtaking views of not one but 2 national parks, the spectacular Fitzroy Falls, yummy beachside lunch, exceptional koala and wildlife experience finished off at a beautiful winery. The other Steve is an exceptional host/guide.

A gem of a tour Our tour guide the ‘other’ Steve was very entertaining and had a wealth of knowledge. Wine, waterfalls and wildlife a perfect combination. The Koala encounter was awesome. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was above and beyond, he thought every detail of the trip. He brought umbrellas for everyone, he ordered our lunch beforehand so that we didn’t wait. Everything was amazing. We pet the koalas. We got into the park before it opened so we had our private time. There was a rock pool and beach at where we eat so we could swim if it was a sunny day. The waterfalls were impressive and our guide showed us some local birds and trees. It was a perfect tour. Thank you.

Eine tolle Alternative zu den BlueMountains. Steve war ein wirklich toller Führer, das Essen besser als erwartet. Wir hätten nicht soviel “Natur” in unmittelbarer Nähe von Sydney erwartet. Der Tierpark mit den Koalas hat extra für uns geöffnet, so dass wir viel Zeit mit den Tieren verbringen konnten.

Excellent from start to finish The ‘other’ Steve made the day so memorable, throughout the trip he gave us all sorts of facts about Australia which made the day so interesting also. Petting the koalas was an unforgettable experience!

Loved this tour! So much better than I thought it would be and thoroughly impressed. We fit so much in but at no point felt rushed! Steve is an excellent storyteller and host.

An adventure we will never forget. We just finished our tour with Steve and this was a high lite of our trip to Sydney. Steve was extremely personable and took the time to get to know each of us. It was a small group (only 10 in our group). The wildlife visit allowed us to get up close with Koalas and Kangaroos. We never felt rushed and everything was coordinated ahead of our visit. For example our lunch order that we selected was called ahead so when we arrived at the restaurant we were served immediately. No waiting to order or waiting for the food to be prepared. The same happened at the winery visit. Everything was coordinated so well it maximized our time at each location. We highly recommend this tour. One of the best we have experienced.

A Day Trip with Something for Everyone! We have nothing but good things to say about our day trip. Our tour guide Steve was timely, well prepared, entertaining, and very pleasant to be around. We started the day off at a wildlife park where we had a private encounter with koalas, fed kangaroos/wallabies, and saw the other animals that Australia is famous for (a wombat, crocodiles, etc.). Next we headed off to lunch at a place overlooking the Pacific Ocean where we had the opportunity to take a dip in an ocean pool. After lunch, we did a guided bush walk that took us past 2 waterfalls. Lastly, we went to a winery where we were given a paddle of wines to sample while we munched on some charcuterie. Highly recommend this day trip, as there really is something for everyone!

This was a fantastic tour and the "other Steve" was fun, knowledgable, and just an all-around cool guy. The locations were lovely and the food was great.

Other Steve made our day a day to remember! He was so nice and knowledgeable about all of the animals, wildlife, landmarks, and locations we traveled to and saw. He was also very easy to be around and listen to, not to mention his subtle jokes! The Koala and Kangaroo experience was unbelievable. They have an arrangement with the sanctuary where we they get to go in early before the big crowds arrive and get a private koala and kangaroo experience, which is amazing.

Great trip, superb guide. We where at the most wonderful trip on Christmas Eve with our guide Steve, and a small group of people. So much knowledge, extremly thoughtful and great personality, couldn’t ask for a better guide. The koalas where the highlight, but everything was great. Thanks Steve!

Best tour I’ve ever been on! Great experience! My husband was even impressed and he never is. Spending time with the animals was amazing. This tour was well worth the money spent and I would recommend this to anyone, you won’t be disappointed.

Steve is a fantastic guide. Funny, detail-oriented, extremely knowledgeable, a naturalist and birder, and a really great guy who cares about his guide group and the broader community. Beyond the billed highlights of the tour, it also familiarizes you with a large area surrounding Sydney.

This was a truly amazing day and the whole trip was planned very well! It’s an experience you must do if you have the time. The OTHER STEVE was absolutely wonderful and we had a blast spending the day with him on our tour. Getting to be so up close with the Koalas and Kangaroos was incredible. All of the history you learn on the drive, the scenery, beach, lunch, waterfall, and wine tasting was incredible as well.
The OTHER STEVE was so kind, knowledgeable, and very funny. We had a couple of high maintenance guests on our tour, and he handled them very well, even though they were quite annoying. If you do this tour remember you will be with other families and be aware it’s not just about you, and your wants/needs. I’m not sure why some need to be reminded of this but I’m just putting that out there 😊

MAGICAL! So much in one day it was amazing. From the up close and personal encounters with koalas and kangaroos, beautiful scenery, fun and friendly lunch with amazing views topped off by a winery. Steve is extremely knowledgeable with animals, history and culture. He is kind and friendly … do not miss this experience.

With limited time in Sydney this was a great way to see more than expected. The koalas, beach, neighborhoods, lunch, waterfalls, and winery were wonderful. Steve was an awesome guide and very knowledgeable of animals and the area.

THE highlight of our family trip. This full day excursion with my family was THE highlight of our 8 day trip to Australia. Steve's personal knowledge and expertise as a guide made it exceptional. As someone who has traveled quite a bit I couldn't recommend this experience more highly. Treat yourself and do it!

Terrific day Steve made today a truly special day!
Pickup was on time and the vehicle was very easy on and off and comfortable.
He kept up a running commentary most of the day, sharing his knowledge of the history and culture of Australia and particularly of Sydney.
We visited Symbio Wildlife Park which we found to be better than Healesville and Featherdale. We got to pet Koalas and hand-feed Kangaroos.
We drove along the Grand Pacific Drive and over the Sea Cliff Bridge. We stopped at several beach overlooks at one of which we watched paragliding.
We took a short, mildly strenuous walk to a Fitzroy waterfall in the Southern Highlands
We had lunch at the Bulli cafe and lastly stopped for a wine tasting at a small vineyard where they served a sparkling red that was served cold- unusual.
As we headed back to Sydney he pulled over into a small layby where he had previously discovered some kangaroos in the fields
This tour is to an area rarely seen by tourists is well worth the money

Great fun even on a rainy day We took this tour on a day that turned out to be quite rainy, BUT we had good fun.

The zoo where we met the wildlife was almost empty when we arrived, partially due to the great relationship that the tour company has with the zoo. So, we got a lot of one on one time with many animals especially petting the koalas and hand feeding wallabies and kangaroos. Apparently the animals appreciated that weather more than a hot sunny day.

The waterfall turned out to be a bit in the mist that day, but we were still able to get a sense of its full grandeur.

Finally, the wine tasting provided a nice sample of the winery’s great wines incl. some nice and creative products.

All in all, it was a great and well rounded day. The glue, however, that held it all together was our guide Steve, a.k.a. the Other Steve, but to us for sure the Best Steve! His knowledge and humor alone were simply great and kept us entertained the entire day.

We’d take this tour again and highly recommend it.

The most amazing day outside of Sydney, but not too far away. Perfect for anyone who doesn’t have much time in Sydney, but wants to get real australian experience of nature, animals and wine. Perfect timing in each location. Beautiful story telling. Would suggest to anyone!
